Route
The running route is well signposted (kilometers are indicated), it runs over asphalt and cobblestones. The routes of 5 km, 10 km, and 10 English miles are officially measured (see “Measured Routes DLV”); the 5 km and 10 km are record-eligible.
Award Ceremony
Immediately after the last participant of each race crosses the finish line. Award ceremony for the main race (10 miles) from 7:15 PM.
Medals
All participants will receive a medal.
Inclusion Run and Nordic Walking (5 km)
For the first time, an inclusion run will take place as part of the event. Together with walkers and Nordic walkers, a 5 km route will be completed. The focus is on the idea of inclusion and the health aspect of movement. The German Athletics Association recommends that organizers publish results only in alphabetical order. Electronic timing will be provided, but without a competitive character. With this, we want to give all participants the opportunity to be active together in a relaxed atmosphere – regardless of age, performance level, or disability.
Awards

1 Mile Students: All participants will receive a certificate. The age group winners (places 1-3) will receive a trophy.

The relay handover takes place in the designated handover zone in the finish area. This is specially marked. Additionally, the relay in place 1 will receive a crate of Jever beer.
Certificates
All participants in the children’s races will receive a certificate during the event. For all other participants, certificates will be made available on the internet.
Diverse
In the gender category Diverse (which also includes “non-binary” and “no gender”), we determine the running time without ranking and consequently award ceremony. With the ranking, this race is evaluated in the genders “Female” and “Male”, so that alternatively, under the premise that sporting fairness is a matter of course, the decision can be made whether the participants want to be evaluated with the women or the men. The selection also applies to the evaluation of age groups. This procedure corresponds to the recommendation of the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency and the valid regulations of DOSB, NADA and DLV.
Withdrawal
If a registered participant does not participate, there is no entitlement to a refund of the registration fee. In individual medical cases, we can, upon presentation of a medical certificate, review the refund of the pure entry fee.
Function Shirt
A high-quality function shirt can be purchased. For registration or order by June 7, 2026, the cost is €20.00. From June 8, 2026 and on the event day, the cost is €25.00. While supplies last!
Timing/Finish Recording
Timing is done using a transponder chip integrated into the race number. The race number does not need to be returned after the race. The finish line is additionally monitored by video. There is no timing for the children’s races. Gross and net times are shown for the 5 km, 10 km, and 10 English miles. Evaluation is done according to the provisions of the German Athletics Regulations (§3). Gross times are used; if necessary, video evidence can be used for clarification.
Beverage and Refreshment Stations
The establishment of beverage and refreshment stations along the route depends on the weather. In the finish area, all runners will receive free Jever Fun, Jever Fun Lemon, and Jever Fun Blood Orange from the Frisian Brewery in Jever. Additionally, water, isotonic drinks, and iced tea from Nordfrost will be offered.

Numerous parking spaces are available in the city, including the Green Garden parking lot, at the outdoor pool on Jahnstraße, on Schlachtstraße, and the parking lot on Schillerstraße.
